THE DE LA SALLE University-Dasmariñas on Saturday announced it will not raise tuition in the coming school year to help students continue their learning amid the pandemic

Citing financial difficulties the pandemic brought to a lot of families, the university said it decided that tuition and other fees will remain the same.

“For the upcoming school year, we maintain the NO TUITION FEE INCREASE, but will continue to provide you with a LASALLIAN QUALITY EDUCATION that you deserve,” DLSU-D wrote on Facebook.

The announcement of no increase in fees was applauded by students who said the move was timely amid the high prices of commodities.

DLSU-D, meanwhile, has yet to announce whether it will continue with hybrid learning by next academic year.

To recall, the Commission on Higher Education said it is expecting an increase in the number of universities opening face-to-face learning options from August to September.
