DEPARTMENT  of Education Secretary Leonor Briones said dry runs will continue until October before classes start.

“Ipagpapatuloy itong mga dry runs up to October para by that time, ang pagbubukas ng schools sa October ay dire-diretso na ang ating classes,” Briones said in a press briefing.

The DepEd  conducted 500 simulations and dry runs to resolve issues in some regions amid the postponement of classes.

Briones asked for the full cooperation of teachers and apologized to the learners for the delay.

“Mahal na mahal sila ng Presidente, ayaw ng Presidente na ma-expose sila sa kung ano-ano mang risk,” Briones stressed.

The new school year will start on October 5, 2020 and will end on June 16, 2021.
