DEPED INTENSIFIES HONESTY PROJECT

/ 2 March 2021

THE DEPARTMENT of Education’s office in Tagum City intensified its We Advocate Time Consciousness and Honesty project to instill the values of honesty and punctuality in young people.

DepEd Tagum pushed to strengthen Filipino values in education even under the new normal by imparting to schools and communities the best practices and activities in instilling the two core values.

The project aims to teach people, especially the young ones, the discipline of valuing time and being honest “that are critical in creating a sustainable world with inclusive societies that serves as a positive source in nurturing a person that is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged.”

The project was extended in barangays, business establishments, private institutions, private schools, and religious groups.

Through the initiative, learners were provided cellphones, modems and load allowances with the help of SMART Communication and private individuals.

The agency also conducted feeding programs and distributed disinfectants and face masks.

In support of project W.A.T.C.H, the 8th Sangguniang Panlungsod of Tagum led by councilors Ester Anggoy, MMPA, Kim Samuel Anggoy and Jessica P. Ado filed City Resolution No. 691 mandating all public officers and employees to uphold integrity.
