DEPED CONCLUDES NATIONWIDE ORIENTATION ON LEARNING SYSTEMS REFORMS

/ 27 May 2026

THE DEPARTMENT of Education has concluded its nationwide orientation series on the Learning Systems Reform Policies, aimed at preparing teachers and school heads for the smooth and consistent implementation of key education reforms in the upcoming school year.

The orientation equipped educators and school leaders across all regions with the necessary guidance and support to effectively carry out the department’s reform initiatives.

Education Secretary Sonny Angara said the completion of the orientations marks only the beginning of DepEd’s continuing implementation support for schools.

The final leg of the orientation series was held in the MIMAROPA Region through a two-day activity in Puerto Princesa City. The event gathered regional and division office personnel, school heads, and teachers through a hybrid setup that combined onsite participation and clustered viewing arrangements across the region.
