DAVAO MEDICAL SCHOOL GRADUATE TOPS DENTISTRY LICENSURE EXAM
A GRADUATE of the Davao Medical School topped the licensure exam for dentists given last January 2022 by the Professional Regulation Commission.
Bernadine Tay Tan led the successful examinees with a score of 83.60 percent, followed by Maria Salvacion Riñopa Dacio of the University of Baguio with 83.0 percent.
Tied at third place are Harissa Kristina Reyes De Lara of the University of the East-Manila, Ralph Ganzo of the Southwestern University and Yumi Dacoco Tokoyo of the University of the Philippines Manila at 85.75.
They were followed by Daniel Louise Edaño Puspos of the Centro Escolar University-Manila (82.64); Nica Jeorgia Perez Salazar of UPM (82.50); and Jean Camille Dimapilis Peralta of the Emilio Aguinaldo College-Dasmariñas (82.47).
Completing the top 10 list are Mary Diane Alcobendas Garcia of University of the East-Manila (82); Jed Dajao Codilla of Southwestern University (81.93); Wilton James Ong Ching of UE-Manila (81.76); and Shaira Catalonia Cabalonga of University of Baguio (81.67).
The PRC said that only 731 out of 1,660 examinees passed the examination held in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, and Iloilo.
The best performing school was Cebu Doctors University, with 54 of its 62 takers passing the exam for a success rate of 87.10%.
