CHED: LECTURES SHOULD COME FROM PRIMARY DATA AND RESEARCH

/ 2 September 2022

COMMISSION on Higher Education Chairman Prospero De Vera III said that professors must base their lectures from “primary data” and extensive research.

De Vera said that teachers should ensure that their lessons are not from gossip.

It is the responsibility of an educator to provide the right information to their students, De Vera said.

Asked about his thoughts on supposed attempts to revise Philippine history, he said: “Kung magaling ang teacher na nagtuturo, hindi niya papatulan ang revisionism.”
