THE Commission on Higher Education commended the University of Santo Tomas for its consistent placement in various international rankings that helped raise the status of the country in the global academic arena.

The Commission awarded UST a Certificate of Commendation for its feat.

UST initially secured a spot in World University Rankings for Innovation, 2024 Times Higher Education World, Asia University Rankings, and 2024 Quacquarelli-Symonds World.

CHED also commended the university for its success in the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance.

“It cited ten bachelor’s programs already certified by AUN-QA, which has since certified eight more and conferred upon UST the prestigious Institutional Certification,” UST said.
