COMMISSION on Higher Education Chairman Prospero De Vera III is “getting better” after he tested positive for Covid19.

“Gusto ko pong ibalita sa inyo na unti-unting bumubuti na ang aking kondisyon mula nung ako ay nagpositibo sa Covid19,” he said.

Although sick, De Vera said that he continued to do his job as CHED chair.

“Tuloy-tuloy na ang mga meeting ng CHED mga pagsangguni sa mga pamantasan, at pati na media interviews kahit paos ang boses,” he said.

He thanked the doctors who helped him recover and for the people who prayed for him while battling the virus.

De Vera encouraged higher education institutions to continue the school-based vaccination program to help the country increase the vaccination rate.
