THE BAR Examinations will push through on January 16 to February 6, 2022, Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic Leonen said.

“Until we announce, you expect that it will happen January 16. Hoping for the postponement is the worst strategy ever. Thinking that it would be postponed is the wrong strategy ever,” Leonen, the 2020/2021 Bar chairman, said during a forum organized by the Integrated Bar of the Philippines-Pangasinan Chapter.

He noted that all examinees will be asked to take a Covid19 rapid antigen test during the four Sundays of the exams.

“The SC will shoulder the costs to be incurred for the mandatory antigen testing,” he said. “Even fully-vaccinated Bar Exam takers would still have to undergo the antigen testing.”

More than 11,000 law graduates applied for the Bar exams.

The high court has approved 29 testing venues in various provinces. This is the first time that multiple sites will be used for the Bar exams.
