BAR EXAMS PASSERS GET SPECIAL CONGRATULATORY SHOUTOUT FROM PBBM

PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. congratulated the 3,992 newly minted lawyers who passed the 2022 Bar examinations.

In a Tweet, Marcos urged passers to serve the country with integrity and compassion.

“Congratulations to our 2022 Bar Examination passers!” Marcos said. “May you always serve our nation with integrity and compassion.”

Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa on Friday announced the passing rate this year was 43.47 percent.

The passers obtained a total average grade of 75 percent, with the top five examinees coming from University of the Philippines.

Out of the top 30, 11 are from University of the Philippines, eight from Ateneo De Manila University, three from University of San Carlos and one each from San Beda College Alabang, Mariano Marcos State University, Ateneo de Zamboanga University, Saint Louis University, University of Santo Tomas, Arellano University, Manuel L. Quezon University, Angeles University, and Ateneo de Davao University.

The oath-taking of the new lawyers will be on May 2 at the Philippine International Convention Center.
