THE ADAMSON University community held a Mass on Thursday for John Matthew Salilig who died of hazing.

Students clad in black mourned the passing of Salilig, an engineering student who police said was whacked to death during initiation rites.

Salilig has been missing for more than a week before being found dead. He was wearing his school uniform when last spotted.

The police had identified several persons of interest. Two persons who surrendered provided information on the incident.

Some lawmakers offered rewards for those who can provide information that will lead to the arrest of the killers.
