NINETY-SEVEN thousand of brave, determined aspiring Iskolars ng Agham flocked to various testing centers spread across the country for the first day of the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarships Examination for A.Y. 2024-2025.

The aspiring scholars are expected to take the examination this year, a 22% increase from the previous batch’s number.

There are 205 testing centers set up nationwide to accommodate such a huge army of exam takers.

The scholarship is open to qualified graduating senior high school students and those who have graduated earlier but have not taken any post-secondary units.

This way, scholarship opportunities are provided to more students in the regions, thus giving them the chance to venture into S&T and improve their lives.
