FOUR public schools in Valenzuela City participated in the expanded limited face-to-face classes this week.

These schools are the Isla Elementary School, Coloong Elementary School, Caruhatan West Elementary School and Constantino Elementary School.

School Division superintendent Dr. Meliton Zurbano said students joining the expanded in-person classes are from Kindergarten, Grades 1, 2 and 3.

He said that 205 learners attended physical classes.

“The schedule of classes is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.,” Zubrano said.

The official said that students in Grades 4 to 6 and Junior and Senior High School will also attend physical classes once the Department of Education allowed it.

DepEd on Friday said that some 6,000 schools are ready to hold in-person classes once quarantine restrictions were eased.
