27 COMPLETE AUTOMATIVE SERVICING COURSE

/ 20 April 2023

TWENTY-SEVEN young Filipinos completed the Automotive Servicing course after two months of core skills training and six months of technical training provided by YouthWorks PH.

The trainings were part of the development project co-implemented by the US Agency for International Development and Philippine Business for Education.

“It is our honor to witness the results of hard work and perseverance of our trainees today. I’m sure that your parents and all of your loved ones are equally delighted to see you achieve another milestone in your lives,” Thomas LeBlanc, USAID Office of Education Chief, said.

Those who finished the training will be assisted by the Crossroads Training Institute and Greencars Mindanao Corporation for possible employment.

USAID and Philippine Business for Education doubled their efforts in finding more partners in the private and public sector and civil society organizations.

Through these partnerships, 13,494 work-based training positions have been created. Of these, 66% found new employment.
