/ 3 May 2023

MORE than 200 soldiers and policemen finished the eight-month Special Forces Combat Qualification Course.

The closing ceremony for 221 members of Class 21-22 was held at Camp Melchor Dela Cruz in Gamu, Isabela on May 1, 2023.

5th Infantry Division Commander Maj. Gen. Audrey L. Pasia, the guest of honor and speaker, lauded the students for hurdling various modules that honed their skills in urban and jungle warfare, firearm proficiency and airborne operations.

The SFCQC, known for its top-notch training for jungle warfare, is the first step to becoming a full-fledged Special Forces Operator.

The course reinforces the thrust of Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr. to enhance the individual skills of soldiers.
