PRESIDENTIAL aspirants have started their own initiatives to help the victims of Typhoon Odette.

Vice President Leni Robredo and Ka Leody de Guzman responded to the call of Sen. Emmanuel ‘Manny’ Pacquiao to set aside their rivalry to help the typhoon victims.

“Magsama-sama tayo upang tulungan ang ating mga kababayan na nasalanta ng bagyo,” Pacquiao wrote on social media.

“Now is the time to come together as one. Tulungan natin sila,” he added.

Robredo responded on Twitter by saying that her team is in coordination with the concerned agencies for relief operations.

De Guzman said that his party, Lakas ng Masa, will pool its resources to help.

Former Senator Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. had started preparations for the distribution of goods.

Manila Mayor Francis ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso, meanwhile, said that a donation drive is being organized by his party.
