MANILA Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso and Dr. Willie Ong will file their certificates of candidacy on Monday, October 4.

Ong on Thursday confirmed that he and the mayor will file their COCs together.

“Sabay kami magfa-file. May date na kami. May oras na. Hindi kami sa Friday, sa October 4 po. Ang alam ko lang is si Yorme at ako pero hindi ko alam kung sino pa ‘yung ibang kasama,” he said.

On September 22, Domagoso officially declared his presidential bid with Ong as his running mate.

Ong lost when he ran for senator in the 2019 midterm elections. He officially took oath as member of Aksyon Demokratiko last September 25.

The Commission on Elections set the filing of certificates of candidacy for the May 9, 2022 elections on October 1 to 8.
