THE ZAMBOANGA Peninsula Polytechnic State University will hold face-to-face graduation rites, its administration announced.

The school’s Office of the President said the decision was in response to the students’ clamor to hold physical graduation.

The academic community also rallied behind the call, noting that graduations are memories that students should cherish.

The administration initially said that virtual graduation rites will be held.

The Commencement Exercises will be held on July 27, 2022.

“The President’s decision on the face-to-face graduation is never to keep pace with the demeanor of other universities conduct of graduation but rather his immense concern that encompasses his jurisdiction,” the OP said in a statement.

“Since this year’s conduct of graduation is going to be face-to-face, the University is making sure that we deal with all the needed undertakings for the preparation of this significant event,” it added.
