VISAYAS STATE U ENGINEERING GRADS GIVEN FREE REVIEW CLASSES

/ 10 July 2022

THE VISAYAS State University Review Services gave free review classes for graduating and graduate students of the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering.

The university said the free review classes are created to maximize the individual and institutional passing rate of the school on the examination.

It added the classes is expected to boost the confidence of exam takers of the Agriculture and Biosystems Engineer licensure examination set for September by the Professional Regulation Commission.

DABE Head Engr. Eldon P. De Padua said due to the pandemic, 50 percent of the supposed exam takers declined to take the test, citing confidence issues in passing.

“I believe that the challenge is true (for) all students who will be taking their respective board exams right after graduation,” Padua said.

“There’s so much that we lost in pure online education for more than two years and I think this is also the reason why readiness to take the board exam was quite lower as compared to previous years,” he added.

Padua added the review will somehow be able to bridge the two-year gap.

The review for a total of 60 participants is set to end on July 22.
