THE UNIVERSITY of the Philippines Visayas Tacloban College will offer a new program this school year — Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics.

The program will be offered by the Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

Students who will enroll for the program can have careers as mathematician statistician educator/teacher, actuarial analyst, business analyst, data scientist, forecast analyst, risk analyst, operations research analyst and mathematical modeler.

The university said it will accept shiftees, transferees and college applicants in the degree program with Available Slot category.
