STUDENTS of University of the Philippines Visayas and University of San Jose-Recolotes topped the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission this month.

Allaine Beduya Collamar and Hebban Talib Tawantawan led the successful examinees with a rating of 91.17 percent.

Frances Anne Balela Foranda of Isabela State University placed second with 90.50 percent, followed by John Patrick Soriben Fronda of Phinma-Upang College Urdaneta, Inc.

The PRC said 2,740 out of 8,734 passed the exam.

No schools qualified as top performing in the board exam.
