UP VISAYAS STUDENTS HELP REPACK RELIEF GOODS

/ 7 December 2020

STUDENTS of the University of the Philippines-Visayas continue  their efforts to extend aid to people in need.

Members of the Hamili Brotherhood and Hamilia Sisterhood organized a team to assist in the repacking of relief goods by the Department of Social Welfare and Development intended for frontliners and those affected by the typhoons.

The group joined repacking operations at the DSWD warehouse in Oton, Iloilo, on December 2 to 3, 2020.

Hamilia resident member Suzielette Hilay said the activity is a welcome respite from their grueling online classes.

Joining the group were Carlyn Ausmolo, Alliah Chang, Ompz Felicio, Eddie Mar Gomez, Edrose Hilaus, Suzielette Hilay, Ricky Magno, Lance Parreño, Colleen Soloren, and Choncey Tolledo.

Last month, the same group donated P30,000  to typhoon victims in Cagayan Valley and Catanduanes.
