UP DILIMAN GRADS DOMINATE LIBRARIAN LICENSURE EXAM

A NUMBER of University of the Philippines Diliman graduates achieved the highest scores in the 2022 Librarian Licensure Examination.

Marco Meco Bagayaua Alfonso led the successful examinees with a rating of 88.20 percent, August Emmanuel Napoles Florese came in second with 87.75 percent, while Paul Martin Perit Jequinto placed third with 87.65 percent as per the Professional Regulation Commission.

John Arjude Calilap Gerona and Beatrice Bernardin Go Tan, both from UP Diliman, placed fourth with 87.60 percent and fifth with 87 percent, respectively.

The PRC said 250 out of 634 examinees passed the test held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

The top performing schools with more than six examinees and with at least 80 percent passing percentage are UP Diliman (100) and Saint Paul University Surigao (83.33).
