UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MINDANAO STARTS PILOT TESTING OF F2F CLASSES

THE UNIVERSITY of Southern Mindanao has started the pilot testing of face-to-face classes.

A report from The Mindanao Tech, the official student publication of USM, said that two weeks of trial classes which started on Monday is being conducted to help the university prepare for the full capacity learning.

Students in 4th year or higher level will participate in the pilot test which includes on-site duty, simulation, and pilot exercises.

Only fully vaccinated students and those with insurance coverage from Philhealth are allowed to participate.

The second cycle of the pilot run will start on April 4, 2022.

The Commission on Higher Education said that schools opting to hold face-to-face classes must have a high vaccination rate, retrofitted facilities, and approval from the concerned government agencies.
