THE UNIVERSITY of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines announced it will close its administration building after an employee’s family member tested positive of Covid19.

Based on the announcement by the Mindanao-based school on Facebook, the administration immediately conducted a meeting and advised its employees to work from home to give way for the disinfection of the area.

The USTP also disclosed that the concerned employee will undergo testing even if the person does not show symptoms of the virus.

The school also took the extra mile to inform its employees to wear face masks and observe physical distancing even at home.

Classes in the university started on August 26 using its flexible learning scheme called “USTeP.”
