UNIVERSITY OF SAN CARLOS TO HOLD LIMITED F2F CLASSES
THE UNIVERSITY of San Carlos will hold limited face-to-face classes starting next year for fully vaccinated college students.
An advisory from the Office of the President said the university will open its campus starting January 17, 2022.
The advisory said that the move is to kickstart the gradual shift from full online mode to blended learning.
It said that classes will be generally conducted online, except for some laboratory courses and sem-ender summative assessments and exams.
“The USC community is reminded that this advisory is subject to change to conform to subsequent IATF advisories and alert level systems,” the advisory read.
The Commission on Higher Education has allowed schools in areas under Alert level 2 and 3 to conduct physical classes if they have high vaccination rate.
Classrooms should also be retrofitted and schools should get the nod of their local government unit.
