UNIVERSITY OF PERPETUAL HELP STUDENTS SEEK MENTAL BREAK

/ 5 November 2020

STUDENTS of the University of Perpetual Help-Molino campus have asked school officials to declare an academic break.

In the comment section of an announcement on Facebook about how to take care of one’s mental health, the students reiterated their call for a mental break.

They said that students and teachers are exhausted with distance learning and need time to recharge.

“We don’t need advice, what we need is our mental break. Stop abusing the capabilities of the teachers and students. Please empathize,” one student said.

The school has yet to respond to the students’ appeal.

The university is set to hold a webinar tackling the challenges of the Covid19 pandemic to health workers via zoom on November 10, 2020.
