STUDENTS of the University of Cebu- Banilad campus will join an International Credit Mobility program in Bulgaria.

Twelve Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management and Hotel Management students will leave for Bulgaria on February 28.

The program is under the UC and Varna University of Management’s international partnership.

It is sponsored by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.

Erasmus+ fully finances all the students’ visa processing, airfare, food, board and lodging and insurance.

Under the program, the students will be enrolled in VUM for a semester. The subjects will then be credited in their UC curriculum.

“I want you to enjoy the country’s culture and learn so much from the people and their way of life. I congratulate you for being excellent students and for being the UC representatives for this International Credit Mobility Program,” UC President Augusto Go told the students.

He handed $1,000 from his personal fund to be shared by students.

Dean Ofelia Maña, UC vice chancellor, reminded students that they can always reach out to the university if they have any concerns.

“Always take care of yourselves there. Never hesitate to communicate with us if you have concerns or questions. You are the University of Cebu representatives in Bulgaria and we are all proud of you,” she said.
