SPOTLESS BLACKLIST INTERNATIONAL SLAMS EVOS LEGENDS TO BOOK FIRST MSC 2021 GRAND FINALS SLOT

Blacklist International continued their stellar performances as they became the first team to advance in the grand finals of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup after crushing EVOS Legends in the upper bracket finals, 3-0.

No team has yet to deny Blacklists’ domination as it extended its winning streak to four series all while cracking a perfect 9-0 win-loss record.

With their feeding Diggie strategy on Game 1, Season 7 MVP Edward “EDWARD” Dapadap pulled a mega kill midway through the match that secured them the first blood. 

Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario’s Brody went berserk in the opener and logged nine kills and seven assists against just three deaths. 

On the other hand, Kiel “OHEB” Soriano’s Alice dominated the match winning the MVP award, pouring seven kills, three deaths, and five assists.

Come Game 2, Mark Jayson “ESON” Gerardo’s Gloo setting up Blacklist for a team fight which Kiel “Oheb” Soriano’s Harith took advantage of nailing 4 kills in succession 7 and a half minutes into the game. 

With Blacklist banking on their feeding Diggie strategy, the Indonesian champions decided to ban Diggie in Game 3 but Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna’s Estes keyed the Game Three win, providing the squad with their “Nice one baby” strat.

The Blacklist captain ended with two kills and five assists against just one death in the 10-5, 12:23-minute victory.

With the team making it to the grand finals, Blacklist is already assured of a silver medal in the tourney and a $30,000 (around P1.4 million) of the $150,000 (around P7.1 million) prize pool. The champion will bag $70,000 (around P3.3 million).

The MPL Philippines champions will face the winner of the losers’ finale tomorrow in the grand finals at 6:00 pm while EVOS Legends will head up against the winner between Filipino team Execration and Malaysian squad RSG MY.
