CHMSC TO HOLD COMMUNITY-BASED YOUTH ECO-CAMP

/ 15 April 2021

The Carlos Hilado Memorial State College will hold a youth camp in observance of Earth Month 2021.

Dubbed as “Pabukid” Stride to Restore our Earth,” the event will be a community-based youth Eco-Camp.

The event will take place on Sitio Aluyan Elementary School in Sitio Aluyan, Barangay Caduha-an, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental from April 24 to 25, 2021.

“Pabukid is a Hiligaynon word which means “to go to the mountain”. This event aims to look deep into nature so that the participants and community can understand better the importance, benefits and current state of our mountains,” CHMSC said.

A Greening CHMSC and Group of Environmental Socialists collaborated with CHMSC’s Supreme Student Government, Social Science Guild, and Focus Direct, Inc. for the event.

Interested participants can contact James Rojo: 09098316822 or Sherwin Macahilig: 09084007241. The registration fee is P500.
