THE UNIVERSITY of Baguio has migrated into a new learning platform for higher education after signing up with Canvas-Learning Management System.

“The CANVAS-LMS will be used by the administrators, teachers, and students starting second semester of academic year 2020-2021,” the university said.

“UB’s administrators and program chair attended the online learning training in anticipation of the next generation learning tools,” it added.

Canvas-LMS was designed to support and facilitate online education, instructors’ innovation, student engagement and widespread connection and collaboration amid distance learning.

With CANVAS-LMS, UB said, all students will be given the opportunity to get quality and accessible education.

“The University of Baguio’s migration to a new digital learning management system testifies its commitment to educate and prepare its students to become empowered professionals in the global community,” the university said.
