UNIVERSITY OF ANTIQUE RECEIVES ISO RECERTIFICATION

/ 29 March 2022

THE UNIVERSITY of Antique again received certification for being compliant with the International Organization for Standardization after a two-day audit.

An ISO certification or ISO 9001: 2015 is an international standard for quality management which certifies an institution’s quality service.

“The certification signifies that UA’s processes and services meet quality standards. All the university organizations are familiarizing and making sure that the system is in place,” UA President Dr. Pablo Crespo said on the university’s Facebook page.

“It’s reminding us what are to be improved and points for improvement of services better,” he added.

UA said that the recertification was scheduled in 2020 but was postponed because of the Covid19 pandemic.

The university first had its certification in 2016 which was effective for three years.
