UNIVERSITY OF ANTIQUE HOLDS VIRTUAL PHOTO STORY CONTEST

/ 14 November 2020

THE UNIVERSITY of Antique will hold a virtual photo story contest in line with its celebration of ‘HUgyAw and UAWeek 2020’.

The contest, themed ‘Social Responsibility, Responsiveness, Relevance, and Resiliency for Excellence’, aims to show real-time scenes and people amid the Covid19 pandemic.

The entry with the most likes will be given the People’s Choice Award and will receive P500 from the school. The one with the best review or comment on the other hand will receive P100 worth of load from the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Each college or campus can only send one entry to [email protected] and must be in Jpeg format.

“Entries must not feature obscene acts, violence, profanity, religious or cultural intolerance, racism, gender discrimination or illegal acts,” the school said on Facebook.

“Health protocols such as wearing face masks and physical distancing should be observed in the photo taken. Permission, if necessary (especially with minors) should be sought with the individuals concerned (if they will be part of the photo) and for the use of location and facilities used in the taking of the photo,” it added.

The entries will be judged based on the following criteria: content and relevance to the theme, 40 percent; composition, 20 percent; technical quality: 20 percent; over-all impression, 10 percent.
