UE TO RELEASE GUIDELINES FOR FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES

/ 29 November 2021

THE UNIVERSITY of the East will release the guidelines on limited face-to-face classes for all degree programs.

UE President Ester Garcia said that the university has drawn general guidelines similar to that of the Inter-Agency Task Force.

However, Garcia noted that UE will implement strict health and safety protocols including requiring all participants to have full vaccination.

The wearing of face masks, physical distancing, use of one-way entrance and exits and restrictions on gathering will also be strictly observed.

Garcia said that consultation meetings with the students and parents will be held before the conduct of in-person classes.

“President Garcia has assured the Central Student Council that she will keep on sending updates regarding the face-to-face classes,” CSC President Saida Manap said.

“Complete guidelines will be sent to the Central Student Council and we will keep you posted, Warriors,” she added.

CHED Chairman Prospero De Vera III earlier said universities and colleges may start conducting limited physical classes in all degree programs in December.

However, educational institutions should ensure that all students and faculty are vaccinated against Covid19 and minimum health protocols are followed.
