ONLY fully vaccinated students will be allowed to attend face-to-face learning once classes resume in August, the University of the East said on Friday.

Those who have not been fully vaccinated can take courses that are offered remotely.

It noted that medical insurance is no longer mandatory for students who will be attending in-person classes.

UE assured students that all classrooms have been inspected to ensure that they are ready for in-persosn classes.

“A safety seal has been obtained from the Manila LGU (local government unit) and a learning continuity plan has been submitted to CHED and DepEd,” it said.

Meanwhile, the school disclosed that Online Distance Learning and Blended Learning will be implemented for Academic Year 2022-2023.

“All General Education courses will be facilitated via ODL. Depending on the nature of the course and existing CHED CMO for degree programs, some face-to-face classes will be conducted on full capacity,” it said.
