UA&P TO HOLD ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION ON ARTS, CULTURE LEADERSHIP

THE COLLEGE  of Arts and Sciences of the University of Asia and the Pacific, in partnership with the School of Management, will hold a virtual roundtable discussion on arts and culture leadership.

“In a world becoming increasingly visual, how can UA&P pave the way in appreciating, conserving, and shaping Visual Culture in the Philippines and the Asia Pacific Region?” the university asked.

Themed as “Mapping Arts and Culture Leadership: Towards the Creation of a Visual Studies Program,” the two-episode discussion will be held on November 18, 2020.

Episode one will air from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will feature industry experts like Tina Paterno of the International Council of Monuments and Sites Philippines, Gil Butch Carungay, consultant for the Department of Economic and Social Affairs and Department of Trade and Industry, Rica Estrada of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, and Danny Rayos del Sol of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.

Meanwhile, episode two, slated from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., will feature UA&P experts like Dr. May Zuleika Salao of the School of Law and Governance, Dr. Veronica Ramirez of the Center for Research and Communication, and Dr. Paul Dumol of the History Department.
