TUP STUDENT GOVERNMENT TO GIVE POOR PEERS FREE DATA

THE UNIVERSITY Student Government of the Technological University of the Philippines in Manila will give poor students data access to help them in online classes.

USG said that this is to ease the financial cost of studying for students who are having money problems.

The move is part of TUP’s Project Malasakit wherein 300 students will receive SIM cards with text, call and data allowance.

Students only need to go to the Office of Student Affairs in TUP-Manila on Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

They also need to bring in a rating slip and certificate of indigency to claim their free SIM cards.

Other students from TUP Batangas and Quezon will also receive their set of SIM cards.
