TUP LUZON BRANCHES PREPARE FOR F2F CLASSES

/ 15 December 2021

THE TECHNOLOGICAL University of the Philippines announced that all of its branches and campuses in Luzon are preparing for the resumption of face-to-face classes.

TUP plans to hold in-person classes in March 2022. It has campuses in Manila, Cavite, and Taguig.

The TUP Office of the Student Regent, in a separate report, said an ocular inspection was conducted in the campuses to assess their preparedness for the gradual return of limited face-to-face classes.

The university is in the process of complying with the requirements of the Commission on Higher Education and other government agencies.

CHED requires schools planning to conduct physical classes to have a high vaccination rate, retrofitted classrooms and approval of the concerned local government units.

The Inter-Agency Task Force Against Covid19 has allowed areas under Alert Levels 1, 2, and 3 to conduct physical classes.
