TARLAC STATE U EXPANDS F2F CLASSES
AFTER two years of distance learning, the Tarlac State University opened its doors to more students as it expanded the conduct of in-person classes to several degree programs.
“Ito na po ‘yung new normal. Naging agile na po tayo, resilient. Parte na po ng buhay natin ito. We have confidence naman na we are protected by the Covid19 vaccine,” TSU President Dr. Arnold Velasco said.
“Mag-ingat pa rin po tayong lahat. May temperature check pa din po tayo and alcohol stations. Let’s have our mask on always,” he added.
Last March, the university held limited in-person classes for the BS Nursing program laboratory courses and selected engineering courses.
Some classes also had face-to-face term exams during the second semester of Academic Year 2021-2022.
TSU said the reopening of the campus is in line with the directives of the Commission on Higher Education to conduct full in-person classes in universities and colleges.
CHED Chairman Prospero De Vera III has allowed tertiary students and personnel to participate in face-to-face classes regardless of their Covid19 vaccination status.
