SULU STATE COLLEGE PRESIDENT GETS ANOTHER TERM

CHARISMA Ututalum has been reappointed president of the Sulu State College for another four years.

Ututalum was given another term following an evaluation by the Board of Trustees chaired by Commission on Higher Education Commissioner Jo Mark Libre.

The president got a unanimous vote from the members of the board.

Her reappointment was announced during a special board meeting in Quezon City. An oath-taking ceremony was also conducted at the event on Thursday.

Ututalum was inducted as president in 2018.

She served as the chief nurse of the Sulu Sanitarium from 2004 to 2005, dean of the College of Nursing of the Western Mindanao State University from 2005 to 2012, and Vice President of SSC from 2012 to 2014.

She was also the governor of the Philippine Nurses Association for the Administrative Region in Muslim Mindanao.
