ST. BRIDGET SCHOOL TO ACCEPT MALE STUDENTS

/ 28 April 2021

THE ST. BRIDGET School in Quezon City will open its doors to male students starting School Year 2021-2022 after being an all-girls school for years.

Sr. Mary Susan Montano, head of the Religious of the Good Shepherd Philippines-Japan which manages the school, said that the transition will be implemented in all grade levels.

She added that the decision was made after consultations.

“It is with great hope and excitement to inform you that St. Bridget School Quezon City will transition to become a coeducational institution beginning School Year 2021-2022,” she said in a statement.

She added that the decision will allow the institution to be “more responsive to the call of the times.”

“One hundred years later, we will open our doors to offer inclusive quality Catholic education to all Filipino youth regardless of gender, social status, and other social differences,” she said.
