SLSU NURSING STUDENTS TO HELP IN LUCBAN VACCINATION

/ 29 October 2021

NURSING students of the Southern Luzon State University will assist the local government of Lucban in Quezon in vaccinating residents against Covid19.

The university said that the municipal government reached out for help through Lala Salvanera, the director for quality assurance for health services.

Salvanera said the students will be given jabs before they help in the vaccination program.

“One of the [programs] is for them (CAM students) to be a part of our team being affiliated to [the] rural health center as a part of a place where they can learn from the basics, now that President Duterte approved, through the DOH, that the senior nursing (students) will be allowed to be vaccinators and will be a good help for us to achieve our goal,” Salvanera said.

“I think life is only worthwhile if you become a blessing to everyone. Become a blessing. Be a blessing to everybody,” she added.

Salvanera gave assurances that the municipality has enough vaccines for SLSU employees.
