THE SOUTHERN Luzon State University and the government of Infanta, Quezon teamed up to create a training program for the locals.

SLSU said that the partnership aims to help guide poor people through the program.

The project is dubbed “Helping Alleviate Poverty of LGBT through Amplifying Skills.”

“The college will provide skills training and development, financial literacy, and livelihood for LGBTQ+ people living in the poverty line, specifically those who are members of the Samahang Ikatlong Lahi ng Infanta,” SLSU said on Facebook.

Officials from the university and the Infanta LGU signed a memorandum of agreement on Monday via Zoom.

SLSU was also evaluated by the Commission on Higher Education Technical Committee on its Certificate of Program Compliance for its Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics program.
