SILLIMAN U OFFICIAL PRESENTS PAPER AT MATHEMATICS CONGRESS

AN OFFICIAL from Silliman University presented her research at the 2024 Mathematical Society of the Philippines – Region 7 Research Congress and Convention.

Dr. Rhea Rheem Muarip-Bolodo, chair of the Mathematics Department, presented her study titled “On JJ-filters of JJ-algebras: Implicative and Comparative” during a parallel session dedicated to Abstract Algebra.

Her research was one of 40 accepted for presentation, covering topics such as Graph Theory, Combinatorics, Statistics, Analysis, Applied Mathematics, and Mathematics Education.

The congress, an annual event hosted by the Mathematical Society of the Philippines, serves as a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange among mathematics professionals.

This year’s theme, “Exploring the Infinite Possibilities of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence in the Digital Era,” focused on the integration of mathematics with technological advancements.

The convention emphasized the importance of fostering partnerships and developing innovative solutions to both theoretical and practical mathematical challenges.
