SILLIMAN U INTERNS WIN FIRST PRIZE IN QUIZ BOWL
FOUR interns from the Institute of Clinical Laboratory Sciences of Silliman University won the first prize at the Inter-School Quiz Bowl held recently in Cebu.
They are Jefferson Amil, Ian Jay Francisco, Kyle Angelo Tapia, and Nestor Maquiling.
The interns bested other medical technology teams from Cebu Doctors’ University, Holy Name University, Matias H. Aznar Memorial Colleges, Southwestern University PHINMA, University of Cebu, University of San Jose-Recoletos, and Velez College.
The quiz bowl was sponsored by the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc. (Cebu Chapter) during its 55th founding anniversary.
Organized in 1963, PAMET Inc. is a national body with 46 provincial chapters nationwide and one international chapter, PAMET Singapore. It has more than 13,000 members.
The organization is also linked with the Department of Health, Professional Regulation Commission, and Commission on Higher Education.
