SEVERAL schools have started donation drives to help victims of Typhoon Ulysses and previous calamities.

The University of the Philippines launched “Sama-Sama Tulong-Tulong”.

Donors may drop-off their donations at the College of Human Kinetics or Men’s Basketball Team Coaches’ Lounge from November 13 to 15, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Monetary donations can be wired through GCash at 0927 869 2946; PayPal at paypal.me/bagyongrolly2020; or BPI under the account name NowheretogobutUP Foundation Inc./account number 0993-01130-39.

Donors should send proof of donation via email at [email protected].

The Adamson University, under its charity foundation Adamson-Ozanam Educational Institution Incorporated,  has also appealed for donations.

Monetary donations can be sent through PNB account number 1685-7000-5219; PNB FDCU account number 1685-6000-5216; Bank Swift/Sort Code at PNBMPHMM; and GCash account at 0919 061 0956.

Food, clothes and other donations can be sent to the ICES Office of the university.

Also, Ateneo de Naga’s Tabang Bicol Disaster Relief Response called on donors to send cash donations through BPI under the account name Ateneo De Naga University savings account number 9963-178-04; dollar savings 8864-0093-02; and swift code B0PIPHMM; BDO under the account name Ateneo De Naga University savings account number 00-5970-002535; dollar savings account number 00-5970-110745; and swift code BN0RPHMM.

The University of Santo Tomas’ Senior High School official publication La Stampa and other organizations also called for donations. Donors may drop off their donations at the entrance of the UST Frassati Building at Extremadura Street.

The University of Makati also launched its “Oplan Hatid Tulong” which accepts cash and in-kind donations to be distributed to the  typhoon victims.

Donations such as canned goods, noodles, bottled water, face masks and alcohol, and hygiene kits can be dropped off at the UMak’s Center for Community Development in Nation Building in West Rembo, Makati.
