SCHOOLS GO ON ACADEMIC BREAK FOR LENTEN SEASON

VARIOUS universities and colleges are going on academic breaks in observance of the Holy Week.

The India Aerospace University already implemented a midterm break from March 29 until April 4, with classes resuming on April 5.

“Altimeter will be temporarily unavailable for access, so you don’t have to stress yourself and increase productivity while having your break,” IAU said.

Mapúa University Senior High School and Palawan State University will also have their Lenten break from April 1 to 4. Mapua is pushing through with its synchronous classes from March 29 to 31.

St. Paul University Manila also announced it will have a Holy Week break from March 29 to April 4. All office works and classes are suspended during those dates.

The University of Cebu School of Law meanwhile, is observing a three-day Academic Pause from March 29 to 31.

Also, on the same dates, the University of Cebu Law Students Society, the official law student government of UC Law, is holding the 2021 Virtual Law Days.

The Academic Pause is intended to give students and professors the chance to regain their focus after the midterm examinations week.
