SAN PEDRO COLLEGE TO HIKE TUITION NEXT ACADEMIC YEAR
THE SAN Pedro College in Davao City will raise its tuition by four percent starting Academic Year 2022-2023.
SPC said that the move is to cover the “exigent demands of the new normal situation and rise in operational cost, aggravated by the skyrocketing fuel price increase.”
It said that the tuition hike will cover college, graduate school and senior high school in its main campus.
The school said that the Commission on Higher Education allowed it to increase tuition since 2020 but it was not implemented in consideration of families affected by the Covid19 pandemic.
The adjusted fees will be based on the approved fees from 2019 to 2020.
“With your support and cooperation, let us continue serving our parents and students through our provision of quality education, while working together to ease out the economic burden that our families are carrying within the current crisis,” SPC President Sr. Aida T. Frencillo said in the notice to its constituents.
“May this decision help carry each other’s burden for the education and the bright future of our young,” she added.
