THE BILIRAN Province State University announced that it got an endorsement from the Regional Development Council for its priority projects.

The university said that its proposed projects were “favorably” endorsed during the 1st Quarter 2021 full council meeting held virtually on March 5.

Dr. Victor C. Cañezo Jr, BipSU president, presented five infrastructure projects for its main and Biliran campuses with an estimated cost of P260,682,000.

These projects include the phase 1 of the renovation and repair of the academic building, completion of the three-storey academic and research building, procurement of laboratory equipment and facilities, a road network and the completion of the Construction of Graduate School and Administration Building.

These projects are part of BipSU’s programs for fiscal year 2022.

“All five proposed PPs are also included in the Three-Year Rolling Infrastructure Program for 2022-2024. The same FY 2022 PPs have been favorably endorsed by the Social Development Council (SDC) of the RDC, having BiPSU as a member of the social development sector during its meeting on March 1 via Zoom,” BipSU said on its website.
