QUIRINO STATE U LAUNCHES FREE RANGE CHICKEN PROJECT

/ 28 February 2022

THE QUIRINO State University launched a project that aims to create an enterprise using free-range chicken production.

The school said that the initiative will help its community through the use of its expertise and technology.

The project seeks to “fill the gap between farmer and technology.”

The school’s first batch of partners are the Ifugao Village Upland Farmers Association and the Baguio Village Integrated Cultural Association in Baguio Village, Diffun.

The project was funded by the Department of Agriculture through the Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund.

It is headed by the university’s College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Engineering.
